Early in the morning on September 14th, 2009 UVFR stations 135 and 287 were alerted to the 300 block of 2nd Street in Pitcairn for the report of several residences on fire.

Before going enroute, crews were given the update of multiple 911 callers reporting several buildings well involved.

135/287 crews acted in a rapid intervention capacity, and did not have any emergency activations.

The fire is currently under investigation by the Allegheny County Fire Marshall
